Mr. Victor Khaustov from Belarus, Mr. Khan Dang Nam from Vietnam, Ms. Isabel Schwende from Germany and Mr. Corey Vatter from the US were invited by first, second, third and fourth grade students from Kumamachi Elementary School and Ohno Elementary School on November 25th, 2014 to visit and communicate with them in their mother languages. International students from UoA made presentations about greeting words, their traditional break fast, famous places and architecture in their home countries. The Elementary school students were interested in the differences between Japan and overseas countries.
At the end of the lesson, the Elementary school students were playing the "passport game" and they greeted each international students in the new languages which they learned from the lesson. The students seemed to be very happy since they could communicate with the international students. It was a fruitful day for both the Elementary school children and the international students. CSIP office is planning to expanding such activities in the future.
