Welcome to OSIP at the University of Aizu!
The Office for Strategy of International Programs （OSIP) now functions as a center for the University's international strategies and exchange programs.
In order to promote the founding mission of the University of Aizu, "to Advance Knowledge for Humanity," OSIP will encourage international exchange in both research and education and aim to realize the idea of "local to global, global to local" through contributions to international and local society. These contributions will be made by fostering excellent human resources and conducting creative research at the University as an international base for education and research.
Activities
OSIP has designed central policies regarding international strategies of the University of Aizu for the basic international activities and will promote four main fields (below) as the basic international strategies.
The outline of the Center's major activities
- Establishing and developing overseas exchange institutions.
- Planning student dispatch and acceptance programs.
- Providing subsidies for domestic and international conferences.
- Promoting the internationalization of UoA and international exchange projects.
