On Thursday, July 26, 2007, a total of 15 people consisting of faculty members, staff, and students from the University Malaysia Sarawak visited The University of Aizu.
The group took a tour on campus with Assistant Professor Jerold A. DeHart of the University, had talks with President Tsunoyama, and visited the Computer Networks Laboratory. An intercultural exchange meeting was also held with faculty members and students from our universtiy, to introduce Malaysian geography and culture, etc. At a banquet, Malaysian students performed their folk dance. Participants joined in the dance and deepened their understanding of the Malaysian culture and enjoyed personal exchanges.
